Keya C. Brown attended California State University, Chico as an undergrad and went on to Cal Northern School of Law where she graduated Valedictorian of her class. She was admitted into the California State Bar, and in Federal Court, in the Eastern District of California.
Following admission into the state bar, Keya began practicing family law at a firm in Sacramento. But a desire to assist clients one-on-one and an opportunity to come home to Chico, lead her to open a family law practice serving Butte County.
"I truly care about your future and your happiness — even after you no longer require my legal services."
When opening her practice, Keya decided that she would focus on issues that combined her skill and experience with issues that were deeply personal to her as well. In Family Law, that includes dissolution, child custody, and support matters and adoptions.
